Well this was the last training day and Andy kept the best till last. We made our way to Milngavie and completed 36miles around the Campsie Glens. This was to be the most challenging cycle with the hills being harder than those in Arran. Wildlife was great!! Now the training has finished and we are all getting set for our journey. Thanks to everyone for their support and for their money but most of all for their time.

Train to HELENSBURGH and completed 40 miles on what seemed like all uphill. Andy trying to give us a flavour of what ARRAN might be like. Dawn, Nikki, Janice and Jen now seeing the benefits of padded shorts. The hills were agony climbing, especially the one at Coultport but the views were fantastic.

Hard to believe as we go into May the snow is falling and the cold wind and temp in single figures. Well only two out for the training with Andy as a few fell foul of a virus. Better to get it over now before we hit Arran. Holiday weekend and Dawn & Nikki braved the hill training at Queens park. 7 rounds of the flagpole hill. Well done!
